bit unfair?
teen gets 26 yrs for marijuana sale totaling $350
rich murderers go free
manslaughter 5/10 yrs
rapists/child molesters 25 yrs
something is very wrong here...
... ...
the reason behind marijuana criminalization, is so hemp it's cousin that can produce higher quality paper won't interfere with the traditional (wood) paper industry.. remember it was banned in the 30's when the publishing empire had a great influence (and thick pockets)
as with all, some guy made sure his monopoly stays put...
some also say it was to jail mexican worker immigrants who were the main users at the time (a racial bias!)
now the drug war puts money in the private prison system (more prisoners to do those telemarketing schemes probably).. somewhere some fat cat gets rich while someone does some undeserved hard time behind bars
what's worse is the bias against low income families, since kids who are known to have tried mary j cannot quallify for college financial aid.. now isn't that just a bit extreme?
... ...
with all that said, a part of me does not want to see mary j be stupidly commercialized like beer/cigarettes either.. that would soo friggin suck :

That's very unfair. Maybe it's true what people have been saying: The US drug war has been made for a single real purpose, so that only the government or an elite group within the government has access to and able to distribute them without competition.
An excellent movie made about this very topic is Grass which talks extensively about this kind of thing.
yep, saw it
madd fukked up...btw...are you camacama too??...liked the art
