    meeting our ideal of paying < 1K permonth mortgage + maintenance

    not bad i guess.. still dreading the move the uprooting

    gotta snap out of the laziness, change is good, and we'll finally have our own place :)

  • I'm so glad your home hunting is going better. I can't imagine hunting in a city. It was hard enough in a relatively small town like this one. But we found our spot and you will, too. How big of a place do you get for that kind of money a month there, anyway?

  • it's a 1 bedroom apartment, listed at 550 sf
    sad huh :D
    if we lived further away, we'd have a house and a backyard :

  • 550 is not bad for a two people.

  • yea we figured we don't need much space
    and the 550 is open space, good layout, no weird skinny hallways/partitions
    it's just that our junk currently clutters a place twice that size :D
