  • how absurd are drug enforcemtn laws?
    http://www.norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=6282
quadriplegic man (paralyzed neck down since 4)  sentenced to 10 days in prison for posessing a small amount of marijuana. judge decided on a lockup instead of probation because he said he'd continue to smoke to feel better. man dies in custody from lack of proper care. stupid. you think with terrorist, child porn to worry abt first they'd leave this guy be. why spend so much money trying to prevent someone from getting their medicine. any pain relief is always welcome. heck morphine is still precribed. all were legal before too. personally i think banning soft drugs lead to higher rates of drug abuse and violence. wh whatever. gotta work.

ms leona i will get those pics up asap.

  • So sad!  What the heck?  You bring up really good points though.  Also, why is it that some issues are dormant until something triggers it and then it becomes a HUGE issue worthy of mass media coverage when the issue has always been there.  For example, recently there has been a lot of coverage about child abuse cases.  Child abuse has been prevalent since the beginning of time but then I wonder what triggered this surge of coverage on it?  What makes something more noteworthy to talk about?

    Post pics!  I wanna see!

  • the whole child porn thing came up recently because of the big busts in australia. a few ppl comitted suicide bcos of it. they were teachers/law enforcement off.
