i know that in a few years i'll look back at this period and laugh
but now, i can't help but drop the d word every chance i get
i think i'm just trying to desensitize myself and mostly to see how others react
i love it when they don't give a shit, as if i said, oh i lost a glove
it's normal, it happens a lot these days
life goes on
and if someone's not willing to travel with you why bother

i know it's still tough...but you're right that you'll be looking back on it with enough distance from it that you will be just fine...sooner than you know it, hon.
and, i haven't had any fried char kueys after a night out at all!! i don't even know where to go for them at that time! yum! and the only oily fishballs i have eaten on my way home in the mornings are from the 7-11....=( come visit, we'll go get them together =P
