i knew it was going to snow but thought i’d get off work fore it gets bad
its not that bad
but i did slip on black ice (TWICE) which is worse than snow
yes i fell, the second time i coudn’t even get up cos my leg was pinned by the bike
ok i’m stupid for taking the bike
but whatever
… maybe i do have a death wish or something
lesson of the day
doesn’t matter how good you are
you can’t ride a 450lb bike on ice
got a ride home from 2 cops who helped put my bike on the sidewalk
couldn’t do it myself
cos there was ice everywhere
he had to push the bike while i was on it.
man i love those boys in blue
… sigh gotta pick it up tomorrow as if i don’t have enough thiings to do already…
yes i know it’s going to rain tomm. hopefully by the afternoon it’ll be somewhat cleared out.

for the past two days, i haven’t been able to wake up to my alarm
now that the radiator is quiet, i’m not rudely awakened by loud clanking noises that makes me think something’s going to blow.
i suppose i should just change the tune.

i just realized when riding my bicycle today
that perhaps all i should do is just not ride as fast. i mean at 30mph, it won’t be that cold
to get on the bike, take local roads
might as well.
i just have a lead foot on that bike.
have to accelerate whenever i can
but i’m very safe
