ok it's really short
but it'll be my first long drive
should be 5 hrs tops to bethesda
and i'm planning on going to see pandas at the national zoo
hee hee, so naturally i'm bringing cama along
promise to take lots of pics of cama looking at panda butt
.
i sure hope they're going to be there, not under the weather or like the polar bear at the bronx zoo, is molting

geez one day back and it's already hectic
anyway
driving down to MD this friday
then going home to indo
plenty of stuff to do before that...

been to so many practices that we gelled even better as a team in this final game

can't wait...

cut myself with my big ass chef knife last night and managed to pass out on the kitchen floor while holding my finger in a bunch of paper towsls and lying on my arm (pressure on the artery) so it did stop the bleeding.
at least i instinctively know how to treat myself but yeah
i'm a big klutz
thank god for nails, cos it stopped the knife from going through... yay nails.

i slept after getting up from the kitchen floor last nite, just didn't want to think about it yknow
which i learnt to not do again
had this bright idea to get the same stuff they used on my arm, dermabond from a pharmacy in the morning
i figured yeah i can do it, piece of cake. save me from having to wait around in an er
woke up in the morning, changed my bandaid and proceeded to go to:
3 different pharmacies
1 surgical supply store (which i had to wait till 10 am for it to open)
1 walk-in clinic
and finally to the er.
i walked from my place to the queens center mall
which train wise is at ~8 stops with a transfer
AND
they couldn't close it with dermabond after all that trekking because it's been over 6 hours
apprently past that time no stiches/glue allowed
i forgot why
but why didn't the nurse at the walk in clinic tell me so??
anyway, lesson learnt:
1. dermabond isn't sold in most pharmacies
2. if you think you need something more than a bandaid, go to the er immedately, don't wait like me, cos eventually it seems like you'll end up ther anyway
3. duct tape is like magic. er guy told me to duct tape my finger for the game saturday

.. i'm typing like a r-e-tard with just 9 fingers...
anyway, they just put steri strips again another thing i think i can do myself

We always sellout but knowing it makes one more anxious.
Can;t wait to duel, it'll be all out cos it's the last game of the season and since i'm not on the travel team (: maybe next year) i'll have no strenuous exercise to do for the next 2 months.
